I arrived in Vancouver around 1:45pm in the afternoon. I spent about an hour at the terminal gathering my stuff, assembling my bike, and getting directions (and a much better map of Vancouver) from the tourist information booth.

I had a scary ride over a four lane bridge with fast and heavy truck traffic and strong crosswinds, but after that, the biking was fine. I didn't have much trouble finding the place I am staying at tonight, a B&B called "Graham's House".

I had supper at a 24-hour vegetarian-only restaurant called "Naam". The service was lousy and being a meat eater, I didn't find the veggie burger that appetizing. However, the portions were large and the price was right.

I explored downtown after supper and biked all the way around Stanley Park. Clear blue sky, huge cedars, and distant peaks in the evening dusk - absolutely beautiful.

Altogether, I think I biked about 50km today. I only recorded the distance from the airport to the B&B.
