Ah, the good old PC. Thanks to recent advance such as Plug and Play and Direct X, the concept of playing games on the PC is no longer the hellish prospect it once was. The latest graphics cards offer some of the best visuals this side of the arcades, and in several genres (First Person Shooters, Real Time Strat) the real steps forward are taken on the PC.
The machine used to test the games below was a Pentium III 500hz with a G Force 2 graphics card
