Well, for those of you who just have to know about the person behind this cobbled together website, here you go.

My name is Damien McFerran. I'm a 21 year old Multi Media Design student studying at Leicester DeMontfort University in England. I live in a small, insignificant town called Hinckley, which is just five minutes away from the HQ of gaming legends Rare. How's that for a claim to fame, eh? Yeah, I know...not much really...

Outside of videogames my interests include football (or "soccer" to any former colonials reading this), films and music. I support the MIGHTY Leicester City Football Club and try to make it to as many games as my Saturday job will allow. In terms of films...well, I'd have to produce a whole new website to cover that. A selection of my fave movies are Fight Club, Shawshank Redemption, Thin Red Line, Glory, Brazil, Blade Runner, One Flew Over The Cookoo's Nest, The Mission and Amadeus, and that's just scratching the surface. Music-wise, I'm into quite a lot of stuff...Ash, Radiohead, Foo Fighters, Mr Scruff, Soulwax, Super Furry Animals, Blur, Beck, DJ Food, Kid Loco, Beastie Boys, Idlewild, Howie B, Weezer, DJ Shadow/UNKLE, Deadly Avenger, Dandy Warhols...all sorts.

This is my first attempt at building a website (what do you mean, "you can tell"???) so don't be too hard on me if it really sucks a fat one.
