Eel Eels are snake-like fish that are good fighters on light tackle. Bootlace eels are very annoying, they usually take the hook deep and are difficult to unhook. RECORD: 11lb 2oz Gudgeon Gudgeon are small, greedy bottom feeders, they are great when building a weight on a canal or similar water when the goings tough. RECORD: 5oz Perch Perch are beautiful fish, they are dark green with black stripes and a spikey dorsal fin. The gill covers and daorsal fin are very sharp so be careful when handling.
