| Hemp Hemp is one of my favourite baits when targeting roach but it also attracts carp, chub , tench and is a brilliant barbel bait. It is usually feed but it can be hooked. When you buy it it may be cooked or non cooked. To cook hemp you can either put it in an old saucepan, bring it to the boil then let it simmer for about 30 to 45 mins, it will be ready when the seeds begin to split so you can see the white shoot inside. Paste Pastes come in many different flavoures and textures. They are used hook bait and it is now possible to mix your own. They catch many different speices mainly carp, tench and bream. Boilies These are small, boiled, high protien baits used mainly in carp fishing but will catch tench, bream and barbel too. They come in many different sizes and flavours so experiment. |
