The bad guys will know where to rob, the really bad guys will know where to find potential rape victims, and when I hear the screaming, I'll know not to interfere, since it's your choice to wait for the cops.
Meanwhile, I'll stick to my .45 for self protection. I've called the cops in several different cities in the US. They try hard! I know they do, but unless you live next to a sherriff's office or police precinct office, it will take them entirely too long to do you any good.
Think I'm kidding? Pick the largest room in your dwelling, and then run across it. How long did it take? 2 or 3 seconds? Maybe 5 seconds?
Do you think you can call "911" and have the cops appear in your living room in 5 seconds? Nope. Can I aim and fire my .45 in 5 seconds? You bet!
I'm sorry, folks, we human beings didn't spend the last several million years working our way to the top of the food chain for me to become someone's dinner. If you want to be dinner, then have at it, but I reserve my God given right, and my rights under the Second Amendment to defend myself. You have the right not to.
The only thing I ask is that when you've been robbed, your wife and little girls raped before your eyes, and your little boys killed for no reason, don't snivel about gun control. You had your chance, and chose not to protect yourself. I refuse to be put in that situation.

You want to be safe in D.C.? I'll tell you where to go...make sure you stay near "The Wall" where all of us aging 'brothers' hang out, swapping lies and drinking Black Jack. You probably won't find a guy or gal there who believes in gun control. You'll also be safe. The local bad guys have found out on several occasions that attempting to perpetrate trouble there will lead to extreme violence from the peaceful looking bunch of gray haired guys with camoflage blouses on. Anywhere else in that crime pit, including directly in front of the White House, and you're on your own. Get the D.C. cops to protect you. If you can find one.
So will the rest of the socialists you have allowed to be elected into our government. You might even get a 'red star' from Dianne Feinstein if you tell her.
Why, if you bring them up the way the socialists want you to, they might even turn you in someday, and then you can be especially proud of them.
