Female Black Headed Normal Gouldian
My Gouldian Finch Pair
I lost my original male to air sac mites and took some time to try to find a new male.  I am particular as I only wanted a black headed bird, and finding one in good condition proved hard.  I eventually found an young, very healthy looking boy.

My female wasn't too impressed by him for some time.  He would display and sing to her but she would quickly make herself scarce.

This has worn off now and they seem pretty happy together.
