| As you can see my Gouldians really love millet spray, as soon as it is seen they get very excited and attack it while I am still attaching it. I only give them this very rarely as a treat since they will always choose the millet over anything else. Millet doesn't have a lot of nutritional value. My birds are also very fond of the soft food and sprouted seed mix that I provide. They are always one of the first to arrive at the food bowl. I have not noticed that my birds are terribly interesting in any greens, fruit or vegetables. Mostly just having a pick every now and then. They do however enjoy half ripe seed heads. My Gouldians also take live food very readily. |
