Since the Zebras have taken over the entrance chamber of the double nest box they have gone back to the single box. I heard the male singing and a bit of tumbling about in the box today.

Pair is possibly on eggs - male spends a lot of time in the nest and when he is out he is chasing the female to go in.
Sunday 28 August
Birds are definitely sitting on eggs - haven't looked to see how many but both spend a great deal of time in the nest - mostly only see one at a time.
Sunday 12 September
Sitting very tightly - each will wait until the other comes into the nest before leaving. Not able to see how many eggs though.
Thursday 14 October
No baby sounds coming from the nest but both are very attentive still - will try to have a proper look this weekend.
