You will need to master the Ninja to get the 2-sword ability and you'll also need to learn the !Dance ability. After you have done this, make a Bare and equip the !Dance ability (you don't need to equip the 2-sword as you will already be 2-sword capable), equip your two very best weapons (like Chicken Knife and Ragnarok), and equip the Prism Dress and Red Shoes (to increase Sword Dance). In battle, use the !Dance command and if you pull off a Sword Dance, you'll do mondo damage! (15,000+).

Equipping any mage with the Barefist ability, and then un-equipping their weapon, will result in a mean fighting mage that attacks twice with the same damage as the Monk! This combination works the best toward the beginning of the game when the Monk is the strongest Job available.
!Sshot !Sword | best Swords
With this combination, you will attack your enemies 8 times! This is especially good against one-enemy battles as it will produce maximum damage. If you wanted, you could do a 16-hit attack if you cast Quick, which will allow your character to do the 8-hit combo twice. And if you did a Sword Magic, you could do even more damage to enemies with weaknesses (such as Omega).
!Lance heals both HP and MP. Using !Lance with a Mage means a never ending supply of magic. Cast spells like Bahamut, Holy, Meteo, etc as many times as you like without making a pit stop.
If you don't have the stuff to do an all-out 8 hit combo, than this is probably the next best thing. Equip a Sorcerer with the 2 Hand ability (not 2-Sword) and use your magic sword technique. Having both hands on the weapon can double the damage, and if the enemy has a weakness then things couldn't be better. |
