In order to gain any of the Legendary Weapons of Final Fantasy X, you will need to activate the Celestial Mirror. Before you acquire the Celestial Mirror, the first step is to obtain the Cloudy Mirror. The Cloudy Mirror rests at Remiem Temple. The only way to reach Remiem Temple is by chocobo in the Calm Lands. After you start riding a chocobo, go to the entrace to Macalania Forest from the Calm Lands. There should be a space to the right of the entrace that has a gap from one platform to another. You'll see a chocobo feather next to the gap. Press X on the feather and your chocobo will fly across the gap. Proceed to Remiem Temple.
Once at Remiem Temple, cross the bridge and go to the right. A chocobo will be standing there. It will ask you to ride it. If you accept riding it, you will play the chocobo mini-game race. If you win the race, the prize will be the Cloudy Mirror.
Next, go to Macalania Forest. Go to the save point right next to the mother and her son. Talk to them, and they are looking for their husband/father to come back. He'll be standing with 3 other people in a small section of Macalania Forest. Talk to him and tell him that they're waiting for him. He'll run back to them. Follow him back and then talk to them again. They'll tell you that their son is missing. Go up the rainbow path and take the separate path. You'll find their son there. Tell him that they're waiting for him, and he'll return to them.
Continue up the separate path and you'll see a glowing stone. Use the Cloudy Mirror on it and it will turn into the Celestial Mirror. If you find a Crest and Sigil with its own Legendary Weapon, then take it to this stone so that it acquires its full potential and abilities. |
