Records: First to step foot on the moon.

Neil Armstrong was born on August 5th, 1930, on his grandfathers' farm near Wapakoneta, Ohio. Because Armstrong's father was an auditor for the Ohio State, so Armostrong grew up in many comunities. Atmstrong, at age two , grew interest in flying when his father took him to the National Ar Reces in Clevland.
He was the commander of Apollo 11. It was Americas first attempt the land on the moons lunar surface. On July 20, 1969 commander Armstrong and astronaut Edwin Aldrin became the first to step foot on the moon. After Neil Armstrong's foot was the first to touch the moon he spoke the unforgettable phrase "That's one step for man; One giant leap for mankind."

Foi o comandante da miss�o Apollo 11. Essa miss�o tinha como objetivo, a primeira tentativa de pouso em superf�cie lunar. Em 20 de julho de 1969 o comandante Neil Armstrong e o astronauta Edwin Aldrin tornaram-se os primeiros homens a pisar na Lua.
