Why it was written: I composed this poem just for fun one day. Actually half of it was written one day and half of it was written another day. I knew that I wanted to do a story about a library but wasn't sure what would happen. At first I thought of doing a story about a kid who gets lost in a confusing and frightening library but once I began rhyming, the story took its own shape Plot: A child recounts in poetry the time that he took his anti-book friend to a library and the strange adventure that comes of it |
A collection of miscellaneous rhymes, couplets, limericks and nonsence written by myself over the years |
Here are several stories told in poetry/rhyming style. |
This story was originaly going to be a LEGO movie, but Ifelt that I didn't have the necessary pieces or sets so I turned it into a poem instead. I thought of the idea last Spring (2003) a few days after the U.S. declared war on Iraq. This is one of my only stories with a political/social angle. I wrote it a few weeks later. Plot: a peace activist named Steve decides to travel to the city of Iraq to help stop the fighting |
Plot: two men go out in a broken-down boat. Read the story to find out what happens next |
