LEGO MOVIES |
When I tell some people that I make "Lego movies" I am often met with a "how can you make movies with a bunch of bricks" look. I then explain how I use not just the bricks but the little LEGO people (known as Minifigs). The bricks are used to make the movie sets. Using a camera plugged into the computer I film the minifigs one frame at a time (this process is called Stop-motion Animation). It takes 12 to 15 frames to make one second of animation. One of the films below is a Brickfilming tutorial, if you want to learn more. Many of the movies below were created using the LEGO Studios Steven Spielberg Movie Maker Set, Sony Handycam or the Logitech Quickcam 4000. The movies can be played with Real Player (The free version is in the top right corner), Windows Media Player , DivX Player, and Quicktime player.
