Youre right, it is. And so are the other four hundred dresses youve got hanging in your closet that you wore once. You see, women are much greedier when it comes to possessions than men are, especially when it comes to clothes. Most guys only buy things they want or could use. Often times, men already own most of the things they want or can use, therefore, they arent constantly buying things. Thats why men go to electronic gadgets, they couldnt care less about clothes. Women, on the other hand, will buy five pairs of black shoes, in one night. To the man thats paying for the shoes, there is absolutely no difference between them. Black shoes are just that, black shoes. Men also dont find the need to match their shoes with their clothes. Black dress shoes work fine for any occasion, and with any suit the man might have (most men own one.) However, if a woman buys a red dress, the next thing she needs are some red shoes. If she can happen to find a pocketbook that matches the dress and shoes, shell buy that too.

Why is it that men and women are so different when it comes to clothes? Well, it all comes down to eyesight. When a man sees two colors, he either knows whether or not they match, or he couldnt care less. If he is ever unsure, but needs to wear something nice, he finds something else. Men have figured out one thing though. Black matches any color known to man. White and grey also follow this pattern. This is because they are not truly colors; they are actually absences of color. Because there is no true color, there is nothing to clash with any other colors. Women havent quite figured this out yet. Women would rather wear something that is all one color. Some women, who are usually considered to be brighter than the average female, do understand that to match, you dont have to be wearing all one color. Rarely will they understand the concept of the forty pairs of black shoes at home already match the new dress they just bought. So, if theyre going to be daring and not be all one color, they buy another pair of black shoes. The number of shoes a woman owns is directly proportional to the number of dresses she owns. The number of shoes a man owns can usually be counted on one hand. Sneakers, dress shoes, boots, and maybe sandals are all you really need. And when I say dress shoes, I dont mean twenty pairs. I mean one pair.

Women have also not yet discovered that that sticker or little piece of paper attached to the clothing they want with the number on it actually means something. Its called a price tag. The most important thing to remember is that the number on this funny little piece of paper should always be very low. It will make the poor fool whos buying it for you very happy. Just because you cant decide between two pairs of shoes, or two dresses that look exactly alike, you dont have to buy the one with the higher number. Its not a weird rating system, or the number of women who liked that piece of clothing, its really just a test to see how much money youre willing to pay for something you already have. The people conducting the experiments are getting very wealthy, and are starting to wonder if there is a limit to how much they can charge. Initial results are saying, These idiots will pay whatever we charge $$$

So the next time youre out looking at a new dress, or new shoes and see one you like, stop. Think about whether or not you already have that dress or those shoes. Chances are you already do, there arent that many. There is one pink dress, one black dress, one blue dress, etc. The same goes for shoes.
