There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the light,
that all men through him might believe.He was not that light,
but was sent to bear witness of that Light.That was the true
Light,which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
He was in the world ,and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own,and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name; which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man. but of God.And
the word was made flesh, and dwelt among us ,full of grace and truth.
John bare witness of him ,and cried, saying ,"This was he of whom I spoke,"He that cometh after me is preffered before me :for he was before me."And of his fulness have all we received, and thruth came by Jesus Christ.No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

cannot be hid.Neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick:and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.Let your light shine before men,
that they may see your good works, and glorify your father which is in heaven.Matt.5:14-16
We really do not know much about light.Scientists say it is
"An electromagnetic phenomenon,"but then freely admit that they do not really know what that is.We know that the light
waves travel the 93 million miles from the sun to the earth in seven minutes,bringing light and life to all;that a piece of coal is; but stored up sunlight that shone down on earth millions of years ago.-And that this coal may be returned to light and energy by the process of combustion. In the same sense,we do not know about God.-potential in man,:
"The light that lighteth every man coming into the world."
But we see that light in the love and joy and radiance in the faces of people, and we saw it in the life of Jesus.Within
substance or divine energy,like the coal in earth, which
may be stirred up and released to illumine the lives and light
the way of men.Paul said,"Stir up the gift of God, which is in thee."(II Tim.:6) And really ,wasn't that the true mission
of Jesus to help all people to discover the light-energy within themselves and to let it shine? There are reserves of light within you, but they must be discovered and released.
