Praise God there are instances,perhaps
many of us ,of individuals who have "come
to ourselves." As Alva Romanes wrote:
I am not the brood of the dust and sod,
Not a shuttled thread in the loom of fate;
But the child divine of the living God,
With eternity for my life's estate.
Not a thing of chance that has grown to man;
But a Deathless soul on my upward flight,
And my Father's heir in His wondrous plan.
As I weigh the suns on the rim of space ,
Who can care to doubt of my destiny?
Who can fence my feet within time and place,
As I search the worlds of infinity?
I am a man, and one with the Life divine;
I am Lord of earth,and of sea and sky:
And behold !the powers of heaven are mine.
I am man the chosen,and man the free,
And it matters not what I may have been;
For I walk erect through eternity
To the far-off goal that is yet unseen.
With unswerving faith in coming Day,
I have turned my course from the things of time,
And with Jesus,my brother,to point the way,
I have found my place in the Life sublime.
Alva Romanes says,"I have found my place...."Have you found your place?You see,obviously your "right place" is not a "place"at all,but a right attitude of mind.
The right place is the state of conciousness in which we know,and know,that we know,
our unity with God. We know our own divinity.
Listen to Paul's proclamations:

Nothing " in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Rom.8:39) The free gift of God is
"eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Rom.6:23)
A Journey Of Transformation
Remember that each moment is a new creation,with
something new to teach.And you are ready to learn from joy now,in each moment.Take it in tiny sips,letting it transmute your body untill you are filled with joy and overflowing.Then you can make choices in clear,heart-centered,deeply grounded ways,and then each moment of your life will be another opportunity for celebration.-
Each meal can be a joyous feast, each gathering with friends can be a festival.Beneath your pain,the miracle of life is waiting to be felt.Learn to do loving things for yourself every day,things that do not cost money,that nurture you without your having to put anything in your body.Celebrate flowers and birds and clouds and sun and wind and rain.Songs,dances,poems,prayers,laughter,silence,sharing-
These are some of the appropriate ways to express gratitude and thanksgiving and soul-vast celebration.We have learned from suffering for so long that our bodies are not used to joy.But each day we can take in more and more of it,transmuting our cells till they are filled with it.
As you travel your spiritual path,recognize that everything you did was a part of your journey to Spirit,chosen at the deepest level,and a part of your soul's unfolding.
Could you be who you are without the journey you have been on,without the darkness, the horrors,the fear?
Know that you have created this journey on a soul level so that you could learn all you needed to in order to become more fully yourself.Feel all your feelings,and ask yourself how each event in your life,however painful,was the perfect teacher for you to learn exactly what needed to
learn at that time.-
