A BORE has the following components: (1) Title of piece (Note: the piece did not have to be a book; it could be a poem, a short story, lyrics to a song, etc.) -and- Author (Could also include 1-2 sentences about the author's background, and other pieces written.) (2) Brief Description (Summary): 3-7 sentences (3) + and Why (Something positive about the piece: something they liked about the piece; an event in the piece that stood out to them; etc. -and- why they feel this way) (4) - and Why (Something negative about the piece: something they didn't like about the piece; an event that was negative; etc. -and- why they feel this way) (5) Learned (Something they learned from the piece. |
