Glisse Power and Edges is the first program launched by FCFISC in an effort to improve our skaters'  basic skating skills through programmed modules of skating skills exercises.  The program consists of 6 modules, each module lasting around 8 weeks plus 1 additional session for evaluation.  The evaluation session may take place at Mall of Asia depending on availability.   Skaters must be at least Delta level to qualify for inclusion in this program.

Module sessions are held at Mica's ProShop and it starts with a video showing, lecture, and a review of the skater's skating progress via the viewing recorded videos of previous sessions.  A skater's booklet and weekly handouts are provided.

Coach Eric Navalta, our home rink's most senior and sole coach in the Philippines grounded in the discipline of Figures heads the club program.. Coach Carlo Gonzales assists whenever possible.

Thank you also to Coach Ian Cruz, who has. on some occasions, assisted in helping our girls.

Club session lecture starts at 8pm, Saturdays while ice-time begins at 9:30 pm.

The intake for the second batch of FCFISC Glisse skaters starts on March 24, 2006.

Our very special thanks to Mr. Anton Medel Ortigas for sharing in our vision for our skaters and the sport, and for arranging available ice-time.
