The Diaconate Board from Article VI of FCC Bylaws The Diaconate Board (Deacons & Deaconesses) shall have charge of all matters pertaining to the spiritual welfare of the Church and its members, officers and minister(s). Responsibilities include: services of worship; pulpit supply, including interim ministers; assisting in administering the Sacraments; establishing a Music Committee; developing and maintaining an active membership; developing a visitation program including special care for the needy, sick and shut-in; preparing the sanctuary for worship; selecting ushers, acolytes, hosts, and others as needed. |

The Diaconate Board meets the first Tuesday evening of each month. |
