51st Annual Freedom Fund Banquet:

We celebrated our 51st Freedom Fund Banquet at the Fauquier Springs Country Club. Our guest speaker was Dr. Hortense Hinton, Provost of the Manassas Campus of the Northeren Virginia Community College. Her message was enlightining and inspirational. She portrayed herself as an example as someone who needed to be where she was, if just to show others that they, and their kind, can achieve the same positions. She encouraged us to support the NAACP and reminded the audience that many of the advantages we enjoy today were because of the work the NAACP has done in the past.

2005 Virginia State Conference:

The Virginia State Conference of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) was held from Oct 28th, through October 30th. at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center.
