This 1980 Oldsmobile Toronado Diesel replaced the 1979 Cadillac Coupe DeVille during the gas "crisis". It was a nice looking car, but the head gaskets and then the engine had to be replaced- under warranty- when it had very low mileage. This is the ONLY car of all that are on my webpages that gave me the most trouble and was out of service for months due to the scarcity of diesel engines. Even with the engine problem, this car was still at the dealer LESS times then the '99 300M! Click on the thumbnails for a bigger pic and a better view.
