Here's a look at my first car when I was 16 years old. It was purchased on Nov. 29, 1962. It was a 1963 Chrysler 300 convertible in Claret Red with red leather buckets, a white top, leather buckets, light pkg., Torqueflite Pushbutton Trans., power brakes, power windows, power steering, power bucket seat-4 way, Golden Touch Tuner radio with rear speaker, power antenna, heater with defroster, bucket seat console, 2 safety seat belts, padded instrument panel,windshield washer, tinted glass all windows, front and rear bumper guards, inside tilt type mirror, sure-grip differential, undercoating, anti-freeze and whitewall tires. It had a 4-barrel carburetor with 360 HP and dual exhausts. It was not a letter series 300, but it was just as nice. Wish my '99 had that engine! The total cost including $156.63 sales tax was $4,631.63!! WOW!
