It was a great feeling to go home and see my family. How much things can change in 4 months! I had such a great time in Vegas with my wife and had a lot of fun going dress shopping for my step-daughters semi-formal. I only wish I could attend more of little Hannahs dance and school classes. I want to thank my in-laws for making the transition from Afghanistan to home such and easy one. It was also great to see my parents and family and sit around the dinner table like old times and share old stories along with a few new ones. Thanks to my whole family for making my time spent with them so fun. Last but not least, to all my friends who made the journey home or were there to welcome me back it was great to see you all together again. Although my trip did not go as planned both to and from my final destination I never gave up hope that I would one day make it. I felt bad leaving my team for so long, but they have made up for it since I returned by keeping me busy. It does feel good to be back and in the mix of things. I look forward to completing this tour and come home for good to my family, friends, and loved ones. Happy 3rd Birthday Hannah, Love you all!!
