Hello to everyone back home! Hope all is well with you and that the weather has not been too bad where you are.

Weve had some very interesting and exciting missions made all the more so because of the unusual amount of rain. Weve all been stuck in the mud or deep water more than once in our little Toyota trucks; fortunately weve been rescued each time by our fellow Soldiers!

We found out rather quickly where the water likes to gather in the PRT compound. We had a fairly good sized lake forming near the CMOC and the flat roofs on our living quarters become rooftop ponds. Of course, it didnt help that the gutters were clogged! Alas, we were again rescued by our fellow Soldiers. The only inconveniences were some soggy boots and uniforms. However, a few of our shovels are still MIA in the floodwaters.

As the winter is passing into spring, we have finished handing out all of the cold weather HA items and are now distributing Pioneer Tool Kits, which coincidently include shovels and picks. Im sure the local folks will appreciate being able to dig canals and trenches to alleviate some of the flooding around them; or maybe to just dig themselves out!

Anyway, we still have many other good projects still in progress and will continue our work here until the end of our tour. Remember us in your prayers as we remember you.

God bless America and love to everyone. --SFC Dan Fetterly
