I wish I was in QLD
You know where I should be right now? Boonah, Queensland, or at least almost there. Yes, Sonfest starts today, and I am not going to be there. My favourite band of all time, Audio Adrenaline are playing tonight. My last and only chance to see them in Australia this year would be to fly down to Melbourne a week from today. Highly unlikley, as I have nobody to go with. This makes me a little sad. But I figure since every plan I have tried to make to go to Sonfest since late last year has failed, there is a reason I am not meant to go. I just don't know what it is yet.

So, after that little bit of disappointment, a small (lazy) update. Lately I have been torturing my protesting muscles with Pilates, making cards for friends in faraway lands (photos after they have been received), hearing friendly voices I haven't heard in a long time (Hi Tara!), and wanting to purchase every single item of clothing for a baby girl I lay eyes on. Tara & Micah are having a little girl in June, and ever since they told me, I have just wanted to shop shop shop for her. But I know she will be spoilt rotten, even without my help. Still, I am looking for the perfect gift/s, that I can hopefully personally deliver later this year.

As well as all that, I have been doing a lot of baking.
mini bagels, real bagels and focaccia

I have become obsessed with taking photos of my food.
spanish pizza, marinated capsicum, pumpkin ravioli, bizarre but yummy lunch

I have been adding to my knitting stash and learning to knit in the round.
needles and cotton and wool, oh my!

So now, I am signing off for a very relaxed day of knitting. Yes, I plan to knit for the whole day, and maybe watch a bit of tennis. I am working on my first "real" knitted project that is not a rectangle, so I am anxious to get it finished. Oh, and I just found out Mel from church had a baby girl this morning! So many beautiful baby girls entering the world. Much excitement.
