News from the land of the vegetarian hippies
So I ate meat for the first time this year today. That would sound a lot more amazing if it was the 2nd of December instead of the 2nd of January. I had fish for lunch. It wasn't even fresh fish, it was the frozen crumbed kind. Oh well. We have decided that we will probably eat meat about once a week, and mostly chicken or fish, trying to eat red meat only about once a month. We'll see.

Tonight I made pumpkin ravioli for dinner. This was my second attempt at making pasta and although the results were good, it certainly wasn't as successful as my first attempt. I didn't cook it for long enough or roll it out thin enough (this time I rolled by hand with a rolling pin). The ravioli came out huge and each individual one was like a mini pie. The most wicked part of it was that there was no "sauce" per se to serve over it. It was supposed to be served with melted butter and freshly grated Parmesan cheese. So bad for the arteries but oh so very tasty!

In other news I have decided to re-evaluate my adventure list. There are so many items on there and some that are really not "must do" things, which kind of defeats the purpose of the list. So over the next few days I am going to trim it down and try and have only the things I really want to try and do before I die.

I calculated my Real Age today. I am 23.5 and until I got to the exercise section my Real Age was 21.8 or something similar. Not bad. Then when I input how little I exercise it changed me to 25.3. Something for me to work on I think.

Sorry for the randomness of this whole entry. My thoughts seem to be spurting out at random tonight. Oh by the way, the Month of Softies December Gallery is up. Lots of beautiful Christmas artworks in there. And January's theme is "Vintage Catwalk". I have a brilliant (well I think so) idea for my submission, but I promised myself I would finish a project for someone in the fam first, so I have to get busy.
