About the Site

Welcome backOriginally this page was about the 4G Civic that I used to have. But as live is, there's things that happen that take us for surprise. Well I sold the Civic in November 2001, sad I was ,yes.

I went to live in Germany for eight months. There, I saw lots of cars that I haven't  seen here in Puerto Rico. Some of them you can see the pictures in the Europe Pictures page. One of those cars that caught my attention was a 1G CRX 1.6i-16V that I saw at a Wiesbaden street. Was small but it have a DOHC engine ( Brown top ZC). I liked the car and when I got back to Puerto Rico in July 2002 I began searching for a 1G CRX. Lucky for me, one of my friends have one at his home. It was an 1987 CRX DX.  So I bought it for $300 and began thinking about what I wanted to do with the car.

The results, well the pictures talk by themselves. I didn't choose the DOHC ZC, instead I opted for the more powerful DOHC VTEC B16A engine. A more expensive and difficult project, but It was worth the effort. Well that's my way if thinking.

Why I choose the 1G CRX instead of another 4G Civic, Good question. Maybe the advantage of the light weight of the CRX, With the VTEC engine definitely I know it will be more faster then the 4G Civic.

This page is a summary of my experiences with the 4G Civic that I used to have and the 1G CRX that I have now. You can see pictures of the swaps as well as some information and pictures with it. Also since I like how the JDM cars look I include also my experiences with the JDM Parts that I got for both cars. Hope you enjoy it.
