SWAP HISTORY

My Stock D16A6

Was good.

15.4 @ 88mph

Modifications at that time

K&N air filter, Over bored throttle body, Header, 2" piping and Super Turbo muffler, Ported & Polished head, Web Cams Cam, AEM cam sprocket.

The B16A
The engine looks clean and have all the plugs. I notice that outside of the tranny have traces of battery acid and that the front engine mount was a little twisted. So I think that the SiR that have the engine before suffered a crash in the front passenger side.

LSD
Notice the LSD label stamped in the tranny, under the VTEC solenoid area.

Bye, Bye D16A6

My Civic without the little D16A6.

Almost Done

The Driver side engine mount is from an Integra

For the rear side mount, I modified the rear bracket that came with the engine and I moved the rear factory mount to the second set of holes located next to it in the rear cross-member.

For the passenger side mount I just fabricated an adapter that let me use the stock OEM Civic mount location and the OEM civic mount.

The front mount I jus took one Energy Suspension Bushing and with it I fabricated the mount

Swap done finally

After checking everything was ok, Started the engine and went to the local muffler shop to modify the piping connector  so I can use the B16A manifold, the B16A manifold connector was inverted.

Then VTEC time!!
