The Hulk

So, i decided to play The Hulk. The movie was very cool, so I wanted to check ou the game, and see what it was like. The Hulk might appear bad at first, but when you play it for a long time, you can really get into it. I also reccomend seeing the movie.

The story of The Hulk takes place after the movie. Bruce Banner has returned from South America, and is looking for a cure. He is tricked by his former mentor, Crawford, into trying a procedure that is supposed to cure him. However, Bruce is double crossed, and Crawford seals some of Hulk's power into a Gamma Orb. He also uses the power to become Ravage [a Hulk-like monster], and escapes. You are out to defeat him. you battle the military, terrorists, giant dogs, robots, and Hulk-like mutants.

if you have played X2, this game will have a somewhat familliar feel, though not the same. You play aseither Hulk or Bruce Banner, and the two are distinctly different. You play as Bruce in levels where you have to be careful, and sneak around. though you can fight, you are not strong, so I wouldn't reccommend it. Sometimes, you have to solve a code before the time runs out, but its more a matter of speed than brains. However, as the Hulk, everyone is out to get you, and you have serious power. However, it might not be easy defending yourself when swarmed with enemies, so grab a crate or a pipe, and start smashing.

The graphics of The Hulk are certinally not the best, buy they are pretty solid. The character animations are based on the movie, so that's pretty cool. While playing, I sometimes had a minor problem with changes in camera view. They can confuse you. This game may take you a considerable time to to beat, depending on your skill level and the game difficulty setting [easy, normal, hard].

Anyways, this is one cool game. perhaps not the best out there, but definetely worth playing. And, if you like games of this genre, I reccommend X2: Wolverine's Revenge, or Spiderman. I wonder how come they didn't make a Daredevil video game.
