"What Price Freedom..."

Too often our Heroes go unnoticed and their unselfish
actions go unsung until it's too late.
We selfishly take for granted the freedoms
that we enjoy on a daily basis:
freedom of speech, freedom of religion,
freedom of expression, freedom of thought,
freedom of choosing our careers...
The list goes on.

How often do we think of the price that was paid
for those freedoms that we so thoughtlessly enjoy?
"But isn't freedom a God-given right?"
"Isn't freedom free?"

America is one of the few countries of the world
where its' citizens enjoy the "rights" mentioned above.
Does freedom have a price?
