Plunging the player into an immersive 3D universe, Age of Mythology allows the player
to beseech the favor of the gods to fight his enemies, with rare and powerful
mythological units such Medusae, Frost Giants and Minotaurs fighting alongside his army
and lightning bolts and meteor showers raining down from the heavens to smite his
enemies. The player can also recruit heroes of ancient legends to lead his armies into
battle; Perseus, Heracles and many more.
