Site Navigation: Buying a Car Step 1: Step 2: Step 3: Step 4: |
Step 3: Where will you buy it from? |
It is probably best to buy your car from a licensed dealer. This is not only because they are usually reliable, they also will support a warranty (1-3 years) and also because you are guaranteed vehicle ownership. If any problems occur relating to ownership or finances previously owed on a vehicle, the dealer must bear the losses. When buying from a licensed dealer, however, it is easy to be drawn in to buying the wrong type of car for you because of the flashy atmosphere. When you go to the dealer to buy the car, be aware of the fact that the salesperson and advertising may make it seem better than it is. Take your time, don’t rush your decision. Remember, it isn’t the salesperson who decides which car you finally buy. You are the one who has to make the decision, so choose wisely. Look around at different car yards, compare prices, models and quality. Surfing the internet is a good way of comparing cars and prices. GO TO THE NEXT STEP |
