"Double Your Dating"

A review of "Double Your Dating" by Guitar_Whizz, 30th June 2006 David DeAngelo is perhaps one of the best known seduction gurus on the planet, and it is his popular ebook, "Double Your Dating", that has been responsible for getting a lot of guys into the seduction community. The ebook is a great starting point for beginners, and a nice reference to keep handy for PUAs of all levels. The book is 148 pages long and is split into 3 main parts. Part 1 is called "How To Think About Success With Women" and contains 2 chapters. David discusses some background about why society has 'programmed' us into bad dating mentalities, and explains some psychology about women and the dating game in general. He then talks about your 'inner game' - things like developing the right mindset, positive self-talk, attitude etc. He tells us his own story - how he himself went from not being able to meet women to being highly successful with them. Part 2 is called "How To Communicate With Women" and contains 3 chapters. There is information about working on your personality in order to attract women - e.g. getting rid of your insecurities and neediness, being different, and a list of personality traits that attract women. Then there is stuff about how to talk/communicate to women, using humour to spark attraction (David's concept of cocky/funny), what to say to answer their questions and how to pass the common 'sh*t tests' that women unconsciously give men in order to test the guy's true worth. To finish this section is a chapter on body language and how to tell if a woman is interested in you by the signs she gives you. Part 3 is called "Exactly What, When, And How" and contains 5 chapters. It may be obvious from the name, but this section deals with the nuts and bolts of how to actually go out and pick up women. Yes, after the theory comes the action steps you actually have to take to make success with women your reality. David talks about how to approach woman (and what to say when you do), how to get their phone number or email address, how to act/what to say/where to take her on the first date (there is a 10 step guide to a successful first date), and then how to successfully 'get physical' with a girl (a nice easy 7 step method is laid out). To end the book is info about having a long term relationship and how to keep a woman attracted to you. Overall this is a very good ebook and you will undoubtably find it useful. It's not the be all and end all of ebooks though, and I'd recommend you read other material to supplement this as well. I would've liked to have seen more examples of the cocky/funny humour David talks about, and maybe some more 'conversation openers', but I suppose I'm being picky as there is lots of other material on the seduction market you can read for info on these subjects. Some nice touches - at the end of each chapter is a summary and checklist of the main points in that chapter. I found that useful to help learn the info a bit more easily. If you're new to the seduction community, this ebook is a great place to start your journey. And if you've been here a while and still haven't read it, you wouldn't go wrong to give it a read.
