Happy Beginning
It is now May 25, 2001.  I have been on the Endo diet for three months now.  I've noticed a lot of changes and I'm very glad I started this diet.  Last month I decided to cheat and boy did I pay for that.
As long as I stick to the diet I don't have the terrible pains.  It is very restrictive, but it's worth it because I don't suffer anymore like I used too.
I've even been fortunate enough to not have to have the lap after all. Dr. Lie knows that I have Endometriosis and has decided there is no reason to put me through a laproscopy to see how severe it is since the pains are under control.  If the diet ever stops working then I will have the lap. done to remove the Endo.  Until then I'll stick to my diet.

I hope that by me telling my story I have been able to help someone better understand Endometriosis and how it impacts on our lives.

Lets all say a little prayer that someday soon doctors will find a cure for not only Endo, but all deseases out there that cause so much pain and suffering to the patients and there family and friends.

Heres to many pain free days for everyone!!!!

July 4,2001

I'm still on the Endo diet and have had 5 periods since I started it.  I'm still pain free.  The Endo diet has been a great success for me.  I'm very pleased that I started this diet.

My prayers go out to all women suffering from this dreaded desease.  I pray that you can find what works best for you to control your pain.

Best Wishes for a pain free life very soon for each and everyone of us.

Dec. 25, 2001

I'm still painfree with the Endo diet.  I've been able to change my diet slightly and add a few of the things on the not allowed list.  I have to be very careful how much of it I eat though.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.

April 7, 2002

The Endo is rearing it's ugly head again and I'm starting to get my pains back.  It has been getting worse for the past two months and I'm waiting to get back in to see a gynecologest.  It looks like I'm gonna have to have the surgery I've been able to avoid for the past yr.  I was hoping the diet would work for a much longer time, but everything has to come to an end sometime.  I will keep you posted as to what happens.  I hope others are able to have a longer stretch then I did with being painfree on the diet.
