I'm going to be adding some simple recipes here. I hope that you enjoy them as much as I have. I also hope they help to make your life a little easier.
Power Shake
Wild Mushrooms & Rice
1 cup vanilla flavored soy milk 1 medium banana 1 tbsp freshly ground flax seed Put all these ingredients into a blender and puree till smooth. Options: 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, blackberries or raspberries may also be added 1 tsp carob powder rice dream ice cream (favorite flavor) This can be made with cow's milk for those not on the Endo diet.
4 cups water 1 3/4 cup brown rice 2 cups wild mushrooms 1 herbal boulion cube 1 tbsp margarine 1/4 tsp sea salt 1/4 - 1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper Put all the ingredients into a pan and bring to a boil. Simmer over med-low heat for approx. 20 mins. or until water is absorbed. Be sure to give it a good stirring after about 10 mins. or simmering. Once water is absorbed let it sit for about 2 - 3 mins. Fluff with a fork and serve.
