| Perspective Of No Reality In front a wall covered with age old vines Behind an endless ditch covered with some Mass of green bugs in a sea of signs? Yes big yellow signs saying please do come. To the left a mountain endless green Stretching with peaks jutting outward upward To this mountain a summit can seen At the top green monsters and their hoard Their hoard of machines so montrous and huge To my right a flock of some kind of bird In the distance voices can well be heard |
Not A Great Cold A cold is very unpleasant thing But if its caught you act as a king Your servants do your bidding when you ask Yes for you they would the hardest task If they wont you just look real sick and say You will get something extra for your birthday Though being sick does sound very great There are some downsides to it which I hate Though having the week off really did rule I only had one day to do all my school |
The Cut Grass As the grass grows It keeps its coat of green Then it is cut so it is worthy to be seen Out he goes morbidly and mows When he is done his work of art he shows The grass two short to sway as the wind blows He leaves from the sun and its burning glows Into the house so cool and clean The grass not angry after the pain But happy to be fit and trim But ready to grow after the rain Now the sun starts to darken and dim The grass happy not to face the suns strain Relaxes as the sun sinks below the horizons rims |
| The Lazy Man Who Knew Too Much He takes no action But quick for reaction He loves inaction Doesnt want to Always right Not to fight Sleep at night A must do He is not coming He is not going But he is winning Just because he knew Where you went Why you sent And your descent What you find is true You are predictable He is able His mind is full Nothing to him is new He is seen it all Every sky and pitfall Now his thoughts begin to fall Out of his mind they flew |
The Sick Dip I was sick and feeble for so long Not going out was very depressing I was stuck like an ant in ranch dressing My room was my world which I could not leave For three weeks I was stuck in this great wrong Some days I might reach a stray tater chip In that sea of ranch dressing used for dip I would feel decent and go out and have fun But on return from my fatiguing trip I would return back to my room prison And be stuck like an ant in ranch dip Finally I am healed and I have risen From the depths of me disease....and ranch dip At last I can go out and play But first over three weeks of school must I Tramber Maybe I should become sick again Its better than school in which I would be stuck Like a poppyseed in a ten by ten foot square of amber |
| Football Maniac That fateful day in the autumn season When that poor child was pushed over the edge all he wanted was just to have some fun but no as soon as had a good chance his mother says no go dust the furniture so he sadly agrees and does the work his days are filled with chores upon more chores after days of boredom and allergies comes Sunday the one day when he has fun he was ready to watch the football games he had his chair, cheese head, and cheetos he was set for a day of relaxing and as the ball was kicked off he hears ahh! No it was his mother calling him and she had work for him he could not take it he begged and pleaded and begged some more nooo!! He could not sway her mind was made up but he says listen to me for once watching Randy Moss is more important than dishes she walks out of the room with a stern face he just could not take it any longer if he couldnt watch football there was just no reason to stay around so he left with some money and a dream and now he watches football all day long he has a wife and two little children named, what else Nathaniel and Superfly and he lived happily ever after with his wife, and his football |
| The Perfect Ham The smell of fat pigs roasting Is a smell like no other It is time to get that ham toasting The time is right and so is the weather Who will win the golden ham Certainly not the kid experimenting with Spam Oh I hope it is me And I shouted with glee My double Roasted, Sauted, Pickled, Fruitcake like ham was great I waited and waited then the judge my ham he ate I watched and waited fidgeting impatiently I was so involved in the judging I fell on one knee But then the judge he must have liked it My double Roasted, Sauted, Pickled, Fruitcake like ham was a hit I went to get a triple roasted pecan sno-cone to eat And returned in a beat The judges were ready to give the winners They read off the fifth, fourth, and third place ham dinners Then first place the name came ever so slowly And as they read off my name I did not fell so lowly My double Roasted, Sauted, Pickled, Fruitcake like ham was the best As I received my prize I knew my Ham was the best in the west |
| A Far-fetched Land For this I hold the copyright A land which is a glorious sight A world of greens and yellows It is full of jolly fellows And cans of mellow yellow It is never day and never night Never dark and never light And in this unreal land from my mind Some other things you might find Trees with branches in the ground And screeching birds that make no sound Or a field of blue grass and green sky And all the people can swim and fly Everything is always fun Youve never lost only won There is a lollipop in every hand In this very far fetched land |
| The Man Who Saw The Little Things Some people thought him mad Others though he was blind Even more thought he was sad But the man was ever so kind He never once complained Even when it rained Or when his shirt was stained Not even a little whine Because this man only saw the little things Like the gravel on the road Or the way the bee stings Even the spots on a toad For other things he had no care He would just sit and always stare At every little bump hole or tear At whatever he was showed Though some felt sorry for him Because his lights upstairs were too dim But was actually smarter than them all And never a bad thing happened to him that he could recall |

| The Small Man There was a small little man Who lived in a little house This man was smaller than a mouse And his car was a true mini-van He rarely ventured outside Instead in his house he would hide But on day the little man left his abode He as bored and wanted to go somewhere Where he went, he did not care So he started out down the road On his way he ran into a much larger guy In order to see him he had to look up to the sky What Up little man the large guy said You bumped into me, so now your dead! But the little man used his strength and valor He beat the man, but it took an hour He ran with jump and jalloping And in the end the big man got a walloping Dont underestimate the little man Learn much from hi you can |

| Those By Gone Days Back now to many years past When the world seemed great and vast To those by gone days of old When every day a story would unfold Climbing trees as high as I could Until came the scream from mother Playing capture the flag in the wood and running away from my little brother Some days were loud and crazy When we took trips around Others were quiet and lazy When the thing most vacant was sound Back then yards had no boundaries or fences They were huge, abounding expanses Where you could run and play Or sleep all day Now my yard seems small And the trees not as tall Now my house is not huge and vast Childhood goes by ever too fast..... |
