He once worked as a comic illustrator-contributor in Philippine Comics Industry more than fourteen years and briefly in U.S. publication. He had worked several years as an artist designer in Kraut Art Stained Glass, as a Diorama Artist in PANAMIN ( Presidential Assistant In National Minorities), He also once worked as painter in a private gallery and as a Computer and Graphic Artist in an oil company in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia for more than a decade. He also engaged in Farming as a farmer in his hometown of Asturias, Cebu, Philippines where he & his family settled in 1987. He considered himself one of the followers of traditional realism form of painting, despite the influence and influx of modern arts in Philippines. He is personally not an anti modern, he just preferred the traditional painting without any arguing the artistic quality, philosophy and marketability between the two general categories in painting.
