Wednesday Morning Prayer Group
for people sharing prayer concerns, fellowship & breakfast during the week
Meets at 6:45am each Wednesday morning in the kitchen of the Church Hall

Our ages span a couple of generations and we all share fellowship with each other and with our Lord. We all have an opportunity to pray while we share breakfast, our news and prayer points. Normally we finish about 8:00am, although this is dependent on how many are present (and who might have to depart early on the day). The early morning start is ideal for breakfast, prayer and fellowship on the way to work, classes or holiday activities. We praise our Saviour and are thankful that we are able to meet and support each other with prayer and fellowship. We would welcome anyone who would like to join us.
Saturday Morning Prayer Group
for people sharing prayer concerns, fellowship & breakfast on the weekend
Meets at 7:45am each Saturday morning in the kitchen of the Church Hall

Members of the group meet throughout the year with an average attendance in the low twenties. Most of our members are in the "traditional" category, but there is a leavening of younger participants. A light breakfast is followed by a time of sharing news about the activities and needs of the congregation and its individual mernbers, and especially about congregational members and others who are serving or preparing to serve within the wider church in Australia or as missionaries overseas. Each of the meetings is rounded off with a time of praying in small groups for the people and events that we have been discussing.
New breakfasters and pray-ers, are always welcome
.

Kirk Session
for Church office bearers addressing the spiritual affairs of the congregation

Meets at 7:30pm once each month in the Church Hall on an agreed date (for elders only)

Members of the Kirk Session, or Session, generally meet each month to address the spiritual affairs of the church.

ELDERS (or presbyters) in the Presbyterian Church are all considered to be equal in rank and function as 2 groups:
- Teaching Elders (ministers who preach, teach and administer the sacraments)
- Ruling Elders (lay people elected by the congregation to oversee the conduct of the church)

KIRK is the Scottish name for church.

The KIRK SESSION is the court of the congregation, composed of the minister (who presides) and the ruling elders.
Since both the minister and the ruling elders are elected by the congregation, the Presbyterian form of government is ultimately determined by the people.

A SESSION CLERK (pronounced "Clark" in Australia) is a lay person charged with various ecclesiastical (church) duties such as the keeping of records or accounts and attending to correspondence.
