EPPING PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH - Corner of Bridge Street & Rawson Street - EPPING - New South Wales - AUSTRALIA

Minutes of Church Meetings
A number of recorded minutes for Congregational meetings are available for download
but you will need to know the password in order to open the download file.

By providing minutes to Church attenders in this manner, much time can be saved during subsequent meetings
where there is no need for the Session Clerk to read the minutes to the congregation, and they can be taken as
having been read by congregation members.

The minutes are saved in Adobe Acrobat PDF format (a widely-used convention adopted by government web sites).
Your computer may already have the reading software installed. If not, the free Acrobat reader can be obtained at www.adobe.com
The usual Acrobat reader download page is at http://get.adobe.com/reader/ but this download may be quite a large file (not suited to a dial-up connection).
Note: Our minutes download file is password-protected for viewing only by Church members, adherents and Church email group users.
If you are associated with our Church and don't know the password, please either identify yourself to the webmaster by email
to obtain the password or talk to a member of the Church email group.

To DOWNLOAD the minutes (2 separate files) :
1. Right-click on minutes.zip or minsept.zip and left-click "Save Target As..."
2. Change the filename so that you save it to your computer as minutes.exe or minsept.exe (and NOT as "minutes.zip")
Our Yahoo-hosted web site does not allow EXE files to be uploaded, and this process allows the EXE file to be saved on your computer.
3. Select a destination folder for the file and save minutes.exe or minsept.exe to your computer.
Note: The file sizes are 618KB (less than two-thirds of a MegaByte) and 232KB (less than a quarter of a MegaByte)

4. When the files have been downloaded, find the destination folder and double-click the files to begin the self-extraction program.
5. Type or browse to select a destination folder (e.g. My Documents) to receive the minutes, and use the Unzip or Extract function/menu/button.

6. Enter the password (check that <Caps Lock> is off when entering lower case letters) and click OK.
7. Close any remaining message boxes, go to the destination folder and view the extracted PDF files using Adobe Acrobat software.

If you are not using the latest version of Adobe Acrobat, a warning message may appear, but you may still be able to view the files
if you click OK on the warning message.
If the text appears slightly blurred, try zooming in and out with the + and - buttons in the tool bar.
