My mom and dad
for the guidance that they've imparted on me, not to mention the
scolding and the countless spanks I got when I was a kid, and yet they still reared me to the person that I am today. I'd be forever grateful for giving me such wonderful parents...
("pedeng pahingi ng pang-load ko po sa cell?" )
My couz Kuya Eric
and Ate Jean and the rest of the Riluao Family in California who were kind enough to give me these great web development books that I am now using in honing further my
web programming skills. They also helped me out all throughout
my stay in the US, and they have been my family there. They sure helped me a lot, and I really owe them a great deal!
My couz again, Kuya
Jojo and Ate Katrina, who took time to give me a
stroll up there in Oregon state...I did have a real great time
and I learned a lot from you guys as well! My hugz and kisses
to Josiah (my newest cute nephew)!
My best friend Ayeen
Montefalcon for the precious
10 years of being my no. 1 buddy who's been there since our college days when she shared with me tons of laughter and drums of
tears, specially when it comes to lovelife and whatever! Best
of luck and cheers!
Kay Esporlas
for being a special friend, my little sister over the net, who patiently teaches me techno stuffs regarding computers and
net...You really seem to reflect a lot of me, as if I'm
looking at myself, just a couple of years ago. So, when is our next
Serv-U session? Promise...I'll trade in a box of JellYace for that plus that Blowing Bubbles shirt you lend me! =)
Karen
Bautista,
the "Wild K" who also is my close friend in US.
Thanks a lot for boosting up my self esteem and for teaching
me to appreciate myself. Good luck on your new life in
Los Angeles ( and I also heard you have a new found love
(?)... best wishes!)
To my friends
in The Chugh Firm in Cerritos, CA, specially to Cathy
Ramos and Edith Miranda, for giving me the kind of
friendship that also helped me cope up with homesickness
when I was still in the US. Thanks for taking the time to help
me adjust to the new way of life that I had in the States!
Regards!
Jimi
Fontanilla
who's a very good
cyber pal of mine who never got tired in arguing with me in almost all our
chats, my "honey" until he finally settled down just
lately, and will never be tired to be a friend who is willing
to really watch over you...you'll never find a dull moment with him...Come to think of it, why is it that we always have our battle of wits in the first place?
Jeannie
Factoran
and Benedict Mirasol, thanks for the
gimmicks we had in Caliraya Island, the Starbucks Latte, the
champagne spree at The Blu Onion and most of all, the midi
files you guys took time to play on the synthz for me. Both of
you are such a sweet pair of "lovebirds" (hehehee!)
and I wouldn't doubt you two came up with such a perfect
combination ("pareho ba namang magaling tumugtog ng
piano! Pareho pa'ng sweet!"). Wish you both the best,
invite me na lang sa "pagpapasakal"...oops!
pagpapakasal nyo ha?
Steve Verano, who taught me and Ayeen the basics of darts...Thanks for the good ole times we had way back during our web team days!
Thanks too for sharing that wonderful time of my life, when
everything seems to tumble on me, you were there to share my
burdens. You are indeed one friend I'll always treasure
Darryl De
Jesus, our ever "chu-chu" web team leader, and a very good friend too! Thanks for scolding me on my "out of this world" choice of colors on our Philippine Senate web project before! Without your ego-slashing criticisms, my web pallette would have turned out to be a plate of
"chokies" =) My
best regards and good luck to your new job!!! ("pek mo!")
Maui Abines,
my very good college batch mate...thanks a lot for the things I
learned from you which have proven for so many times to be
very helpful, specially when I am tinkering with my own
computers. What started out as my "a-bit-stupid"
question about the jumpers we put on the hard disk (for
"master-and-slave" settings, that is!) turned out to
be the very first step why I geared myself to the highly
technical world of computer hardware. What I now know in BIOS
settings and pc assembly, I owe them to you!
Sir Mike Dela
Fuente, who served as our "Kuya" at the ITSD Laboratory Operations Office, although I am much older by a month. Anyway, he taught me almost everything that I know in PC technicalities, from LAN Management to
troubleshooting. Also, thanks for that web development book and the tons of "Me and My Mug" noodles that I got from your locker! =)
Terrence
Natanawan, a fellow web team member who shared jolly moments with his cute smiling eyes and bunch of humor. You won't see anyone else with those attributes on CCMITLandia
(a charmer like Ross of "Friends" and super sweet
like a little puppy!) I miss the squid balls and "kwek
kweks" we had with the rest of the gang! Say hi for me to
Yanna!!
Mr. Richard Delavin, our
"superdoopermegahifi" webmaster at Voxtron Philippines, who taught me and Lene the things that we now know in Active Server Pages programming. It did increase my interest in
web designing. Thanks for imparting with us your expertise on the field of
web programming! (Too bad, I cannot use ASP on this site...I
remembered that the Yahoo! Geocities systems do not run IIS on
their Unix-based server)
To the good people of Voxtron Philippines, particularly
Sir Dennis, Sir LP, Sir Rey, Ma'm Tere, Sir Zandro, Sir
Jurgen, Sir Anthony, Ma'm Trinitz, Ma'm Sonnie, Lawrence,
Yeahbz, Lenin, Tonie, Meann, Eva, Jeralyn,Ric,Thon and
Mandy. They made me feel that I belong to another family, although it is at the office. They are a good set of mentors as well as friends, specially in my times of adjustments due to the usual work pressures.
"Mga F're! saan tayo bobogchi for lunch ngayong wala na si Ate Lourds sa Canteen?!?!?"
Niroop Kaza, my first ever yahoo buddy....hey! we've been chat buddies for how many years already?? I have changed my yahoo id's for soooo many times already and yet...here I am and
there you are! Thanks for the good times over Yahoo! and also for the cute quotes I've used on this page. I never had a dull moment talking to you, specially when I seem to be in need of a "shrink's " services.
LOL!
Sedrick Ramos,
for being the good friend that you are, for giving me that
feeling that I am not really alone when I was still in CA. You
said so many things before that have greatly affected the way
that I think about myself. Thanks for the encouragements and I
do hope I'll still have the chance to know you better, even
though I know that we do have so many things in common. My
regards as well to Nanay Lina ('',) (Hey! just in case
you decide to hop by here in Manila, just tell me ok? Will
gladly show you around the malls!)
To my Link2Support
/ Linksys Buddies, heeeyyy!!! I really enjoyed all your
company! Specially to my "mommy" Jepay Deinla
,Tina Borca, Amiel Candelaria, Sharon Empeņo, Kristoffer
Katindig and to
the rest of my Sonics and Starzz team members! I
do enjoy our gimmicks and chitchats! And thanks too for all the
new stuffs I learned... I thought I already knew almost
everything about the technical stuff...but hey! I learned
wireless technologies in a breeze! I owe them to all of ya!
To my Link2Support
Quality Assurance team colleagues, thank you so much for the
company and the good work relationship we're building. To our
supervisor James Fuentes who puts so much faith in my office
tasks. Makes me feel that I'm indeed a very important part of the
team. Thanks so much!
To my buddies at
the Link2Support Graphics Department, specially to Diane,
RB, Koya, Jorc, Eric, Jamieson, Neil and Philip...Thanks
so much for sharing a fun time or two whenever I'd drop by your
place just to make "kulit" to you guys... I miss
the days when we'd prepare for our Battle of the Bands... "I
wish my daddy bird will allow me to transfer to your group if
ever... ehehehee!" "Naman!! Walang bastusan ng katulong!!!"
To Mitch
Chanliongco, for giving me that occasional push so that I don't
"fall off the ledge" because of the pressures of my work.
Thanks so much for the thoughtful words that you said ("kahit
sa text lang!"). Gave me that feeling that I am still
capable of making other people happy...I owe it a lot to you... Hope
to see you again soon! :)
To Mark de
Guzman, for making my stay in Baguio really memorable and
worthwhile... Thank you so much for being there to provide company
and for imparting a lesson that made me realize not all things are
what it seems to be... Thanks for the bear hug when I was really
down.
To DFN,
who, after my first relationship that (unfortunately!) failed
on me a few years ago, was so far the next guy who got that close
to me. It may be the wrong time, the wrong place
and the wrong circumstances for us, but still I started making
these things on the late nights and early mornings when I'm so reminiscent
about us. The best of everything for you...
To Ville...I
will never ever forget you who have come to be a very special part
of my life... If only I could turn back time when things could have
been different for us. Thank you for understanding me all the way
out, for the love... for filling up my thoughts... for the
inspiration you've given me to go throughout everyday. Forever
you'll have that space in my heart that you've claimed, and I'm glad
I'm still a special friend to you after all... Till our next
lifetime... and yah! I know you still visit this webbie... coz I
know that you miss me too...
