Some information about the wastewater characteristic and treatment method
Textile & Paper Mill
Wastewater from the textile or paper is normally
contain organic , chemical , dyne ,
pH ( low or high),
High Temperature , Oil & Grease. Normally the
process require high consumption of water. The
appearance of this wastewater looked dark brown
color , has chemical smelling , the ratio of COD/BOD
is high. The color removing in the treatment plant
is difficult.
The normal process , wastewater is pass
through fine screen , Equalization Tank , Cooling
tower (
especially designed ) , Aeration Tank ,
Sedimentation Tank , Chemical Treatment ,
Filterpress or Beltpress.
Sludge from filterpress/Beltpress is sent to
disposal. The efficiency of removing of color of our
system is higher and
the usage of chemical is
lower then the operating cost
is
lower (compared with the other system). The
operating and maintenance is easier and
more reliable for control.
