| Do you forget so soon that when I look into anothers eyes I see things? Do you forget so soon, I looked into hers? If only for a few passing moments? The eyes say so much to me as to what is inside a person The eyes are a doorway to one's true inner self Their thoughts, their emotions The things I saw in her eyes saddened me Brought such a heaviness to my heart It was near unbearable to carry Not for me, but for you The things I saw in her eyes angered me To the point to where I threw an object across the room I don't anger that easily It was for the hurt you will some day feel at her actions Or lack thereof Do you forget so soon that I see things when I look into anothers eyes? I wish I could forget what I saw in hers |
