Martin Family Fossil Collection
One of our favourite hobbies is collecting fossils. Our summer vacations
often include camping and digging for fossils. Two of our favourite
locations are the Rock Cliffs of Joggins, N.S. and the Arkona Shale near
Grand Bend, Ont. Here are some photographs and descriptions of fossils
collected by our family. The identifications are our own, and any corrections
and comments would be greatly appreciated. Most of the photographs include
a scale, which is in inches.
I have made an effort to make these pages easy to download by restricting
the size of the image files. A thumbnail page will load first for each
location. If you want to see a larger image, click on the small image.
