| Something I found fasinating was...while in the NICU Emma was hooked up to all sorts of monitors that would sound alarms to notify the staff if there was a problem with Emma. These monitors would constantly sound when Emma's heart rate dropped. The only garanteed thing that would bring her back into safe territory again would be the sound of her Mom or Dad's voice or the touch of their hands. It was remarkable to watch. As soon as they would talk to her or touch her head, her heart rate would immediately fix itself. Emma adores her Mom and Dad and they couldn't love her more! |
