| First Days |
| In April 2002, Jeannine found out she was pregnant. She was meticulous about what she ate and drank, in attempts to create a healthy atmosphere for her unborn baby girl. Despite all her efforts, on August 17th, Jeannine was admitted into the hospital, on mandatory bedrest with her feet elavated above her head. A short time later it became apparent that "Miss Emma" was going to make an early grand entrance...after being in the womb a mere 24 weeks and 5 days... |
| On August 28th, 2002 this world became a better place because... Miss Emma Nicole Reilly was born weighing a whole 1 pound, 7 ounces, 12.5 inches long. |
| Emma was so tiny. Take notice to the pictures. Mom and Dad's "thumbs" are thicker than Emma's arm and span the width of her entire head! So, for reference...look at your thumb...and imagine her arm being thinner than your thumb. This gives you an idea of just how tiny of a human being Emma was at birth. But, oh...how perfectly formed and absolutely beautiful!!! |
