This application was intended for the state of Delaware to distribute food
stamps, WIC benefits, Medicaid, Supplemental Security Insurance and
eventually motor vehicle drivers licenses on a single Optical Memory Card.
The technology provides the potential for storing a life-time worth of
information, including:
- Complete history of AFDC, Food Stamps, WIC transactions
- Complete individual and family medical history
- Complete history of immunizations
- Pharmaceutical records of each prescription issued
- Unemployment benefits, Section 8 Housing, Social Security, etc.
- Radiology records with X-ray images (up to 80 images per card)
