This was always going to be a difficult match with Clarence Athletic in second position in the League. The first half saw Elton perform well against a very strong side. They even created a few chances with shots on goal coming from Chris, Luc and Ben. Dale also produced some very good saves to keep the score line down. Ryan had a good game in defence but the opposition today was just to strong.

HALF TIME

Although the lads were losing they didn't give up and after a half time team talk they were raring to go. Clarence Athletic were gaining in confidence as the score line grew. Chris, Jack and Matt had some chances on goal but were foiled by the Clarence defence. Today Elton played a very organised team and although they lost they all put a fine performance in.
