 Elton & Walshaw C Vs Elton & Walshaw B

We started off very well by having most of the possession but then we started to sit back which allowed the B team to open the scoring.  Then we started passing it well but just couldn't finish. Our defence started to get threatened more but Ryan Hunter was having none of it until a thunderous shot from way out saw the back of the C teams net 0-2. Things just got worse when a scramble in the penalty area saw us go 3-0 down.

HALF TIME

We went out looking strong pulling a goal back by some great work and finish by Ben Maxwell 3-1. The B team grew stronger and had most of the ball which saw another goal to see us off. Towards the closing stages of the match the C team got a corner which man of the match goalkeeper Dale Howarth, mimicking Peter Schmeichel by coming up for the corner but he couldn't get the finishing touch. The B team got a corner which made another goal which made the final result 5-1
