SUPERSTAR BEHAVIOR
Responsibilities
of
Ms. Shelby's Superstars:


1.  Learn by LISTENING to your teacher.
2.  Learn by FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS.
3.  Learn by USING KIND WORDS
4.  Learn by KEEPING HANDS & FEET TO OURSELVES.

If a student does not have the power to learn through these rules, then they will visit the POWER CHAIR.  The POWER CHAIR is a place in the room that the student can POWER UP by using stress-relieving methods we have learned in class.  Using the card system below, we will earn marbles for our MARBLE PARTY JAR. 

GREEN:  I had a GREAT day today!
YELLOW:  I received ONE warning today.
ORANGE:  I received TWO warnings today and had to sit in the POWER CHAIR for five minutes.
RED:  I received THREE WARNINGS and had to sit in the POWER CHAIR an additional five minutes and had to walk the fence at recess.
WHITE:  Conference with principal and call parent.
SEVERE CLAUSE:  Depending upon the behavior problem, the teacher will bypass all colors and go straight to WHITE. 

REWARDS: 
IF EVERYONE IS ON GREEN OR YELLOW AT THE END OF THE DAY, A MARBLE IS PLACED IN THE MARBLE PARTY JAR.  WHEN THE JAR IS FULL, WE WILL HAVE EITHER A FRUIT SALAD PARTY OR A POPSICLE PARTY.  I WILL START OVER ONCE A JAR IS FULL AND WHEN 10 JARS ARE FULL, WE WILL GET EXTRA CENTER AND RECESS TIME AS REWARDS IN ADDITION TO ONE OF THE ABOVE.
